Tatamagouche

Uñt’ayata: 20.01.2019

On the next day, we made another small detour, the original plan was to go to the Drysdale Falls, which we had seen great pictures of on the internet. When we arrived at the road to the falls, it was unfortunately closed and a sign indicated that it was private property and entry was prohibited. Instead of going back to the highway to Truro, we continued along the dirt road and ultimately ended up in the small town of Tatamagouche. This is what I imagined road trips to be like, simply driving in a direction and ending up in amazing places like this. We had coffee and iced tea in a small café, walked down the main street, and then drove a little further to get to the beach. In the afternoon, we drove a little further, all the way to Margaree Forks on the Cape Breton Peninsula, right on the Cabot Trail.
