Bergen and Fishing II

Uñt’ayata: 16.08.2019

Today we took on Mount Floyen, one of the landmarks of Bergen. After about an hour's climb, we were rewarded with a beautiful view.

Of course, we also saw the famous Floyen funicular. It can be seen in the picture at the bottom right.

And Keks enjoyed it too, he even made new friends, although I have to admit that they are a bit strange :)

Of course there had to be a typical tourist photo when you could find a little space in the crowd.

After the descent and the journey home, we went back out to sea with the landlord. The waves were rougher and the wind stronger than yesterday. It also rained from time to time. But still, we caught some good fish. In total, we caught three mackerels and two coalfish - then we had to stop because we couldn't eat any more - and then filleted them (by the way, it was the first time I filleted a fish). For dinner, we had - as expected - fish.

Mackerels don
Mackerels don't get much bigger than this... and yes, the wind was quite strong.
