On Sunday morning, I took about 30 minutes to drive up a mountain that offered a beautiful view of the biggest volcano (Agung) in Bali. I rode up for about 30 minutes.
The paths were really challenging 😅 it was very steep going up, and at some point, the paths were just sand and stones. It's not easy with a scooter because you constantly slip 😂
I eventually found myself stuck halfway up and couldn't go any further. (I don't know how others managed to get up there)
Fortunately, a man in a Jeep came along who helped me drive the scooter up; he was very nice 😅
The view was definitely worth it! But I felt a bit scared going down again 😅 I ended up sliding more than riding, but I managed without any accidents 😂
On the way back, I stopped at a café and had a very delicious feta salad and drank a pineapple juice ☺️
At the hostel, I continued writing my report, and in the evening, I walked for about 30 minutes to a viewpoint where the sunset was very visible ☺️
