Yesterday, while having gingerbread and coffee, we decided to meet up with Jürgen in Matala again today.

Around 10:00, we first went to the weekly market in Timbaki. It offers a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, cheese, spices, and herbs. Unfortunately, I noticed that I'm not used to having so many people around me anymore. It somehow stresses me out. I wore a mask since most locals were also wearing one. After that, we took the side roads to Matala. We parked directly at the parking lot in front of the beach. Some small talk, then Burki and I walked to the Red Beach. Jürgen preferred to fry his fish, so he visited the caves beforehand. The good thing was that the sun was shining today, last time it rained when we were here. In the afternoon, we relaxed a bit on the beach. Around 17:00, I took a stroll and now I'm sitting in a music bistro in the middle of Matala. Only locals are here. The nice thing is that you can still sit outside. I also had to show the Covid app. I want to pass the long evening in the bus a bit.
