Since we were ahead of schedule, we made a stopover in Risør, the "white city on the Skagerrak".
Close to the center, a beautifully laid out parking space, which costs a whopping 400 NOK, a proud price for a parking space, but electricity is included here. Normally, thanks to solar panels, we never need electricity, but here we actually plugged in our motorhome to run the air conditioning because it was incredibly hot and the vehicle was in the sun.
Just as our cats stuck their noses out the door, suddenly a shriek went off: The seagulls started making a mega spectacle. One even dived straight at Gynnie, so we quickly rescued her 😅. The poor cat was completely startled and so was I (in my mind's eye, I could already see a seagull flying away with our cat 🙀). Shortly afterwards we saw the reason: a little seagull chick was walking across the green area 🐥😍. And later we also discovered the two siblings. It's no wonder that mom and dad freaked out!
Since our cats didn't want to go outside anymore after this 🦅 experience, we took our scooters and explored the city a bit, which mainly consists of a small sports boat harbor with white wooden houses around it. Nice. Even nicer was the delicious food at the harbor 😋. Huge pizza for Ingo and delicious veggie burger for me. And we even taught the nice Portuguese waiter a new German word: "Spezi" 😂
