Last stop Kuala Lumpur and the journey home! How time flies..

Uñt’ayata: 26.06.2019

Everything has an end (... except for the sausage?!)... Well, back to the essentials: Our journey took us from Borneo back to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.

Since we had only been at the airport so far and hadn't had time to explore the city in detail, we planned the last 5 days for this. Sightseeing was of course at the top of the list ;-)

You can see what we did in the five days here:

KL Eco Forest: After 3 months of searching, our 1st Canopy Walk, as the previous ones had always been closed.. <3

There was also a small water paradise for children in the park! With this heat, we would have liked to be small again...

As it started raining (better: pouring), we went to the aquarium, where there was a 90m long aquarium tunnel that you could walk through on a treadmill (very Asian-style)..

At night the lights went on and everything reminded us of Times Square in NY.. And 10000000 people were on the streets!

And so we were at the airport at 8pm and looked back on the exciting time and the indescribably beautiful journey we have behind us... but slowly but surely the anticipation of being back home outweighed!

We started from Kuala Lumpur via Doha to Frankfurt, each with the Boeing 777-300!

We arrived healthy and sound in beautiful Müden an der Örtze - thank you to everyone who kept their fingers crossed for us!

Thank you also for following our blog and for your kind words before and during the journey! We are looking forward to seeing all of you again and are excited to hear what you have been up to in the meantime!

Until then, take care, survive the hot days, and stay healthy!

One last time: Best regards, Thea & Clem

And with that, we conclude this blog... maybe until the next big trip, because 'traveling is the most beautiful way to spend money and still become richer'
