The 10th day is over and the "Camino family" is back together after spending yesterday partially separated 😊 We didn't quite make it 30km but we are only 15km away from Santiago... With each kilometer, we have mixed emotions 😪😍 On one hand, we are excited to arrive in Santiago, on the other hand, we are sad that our journey will end tomorrow...
At the beginning, I never would have believed that I could actually complete the 250km and now I will even reach the goal in 11 days instead of the planned 12... Somehow, I can hardly believe it myself...
Today's weather really reflected the mood of the day - from heavy rain in the early morning to sunshine and very warm temperatures in the afternoon.
There are more and more pilgrims - especially many Spaniards who only do the required 100km - and it is becoming more and more difficult to find a hostel. But tour guides Andres and Dani have managed to do it 💪🏻😉 and so we spent another evening together in a big group.
So tomorrow we are heading to Santiago and I am very curious about what awaits us there - the city, the people, and what feelings may be associated with the arrival... The Camino is truly a special journey that cannot really be put into words, but must be experienced by each person individually... at least that's my understanding after the last 10 days... Of course, I can talk about the path and the spirit in my short reports, but it is difficult to describe everything that lies in between... But maybe I can tell some of it at home ☺️
So tomorrow it will be a last time saying "Bon Camino" for us... 😪
Good night everyone from Spain, your Peregrina Daniela 😘
PS: Please don't be mad if the reports for the last two days are a bit short, but right now I can't write anymore...
