Beach days and beach escape

We came to Sihamoukville Otres with the idea of white beaches, chilled simple pubs and more or less peace fed by the travel guide.
The sea is wonderfully warm and clear, the sand is white and the beaches are long. But the rest of it is causing us to get on the night bus again tonight.. 'do you like chinese? I don't like them' the nice Cambodian masseuse said yesterday. And that sums it up. The Chinese are buying up the whole town and building giant hotels and casinos in a gigantic way. The whole town is a construction site.
Chinese groups dominate the beach.
In addition, trash is scattered everywhere and accordingly stinks. But the Chinese have nothing to do with it 😉
There was a documentary on ZDF 9 days ago: the new Silk Road, China's way to the West. We looked at it yesterday. We should have done that beforehand 🤔

Ach wie blöd. Und wir haben es noch erzählt beim Abendessen. Nur hatten wir uns den Namen des Ortes nicht gemerkt. Bin gespannt, ob das auch andernorts der Fall ist. 😏
