The great bike tour Day 2: Headwind on the Main

My old bones have surprisingly survived the night in the tent quite well. In a good mood, I dismantle the tent after breakfast and start cycling. Unfortunately, it is cool and cloudy and there is a strong east wind, so it's pretty annoying that I want to cycle 50 km to the east first. I make progress agonizingly slowly, even with great effort, I can't go faster than 13 km/h. The salt & pepper pretzel from Edeka in Heubach becomes the highlight.

Finally, I reach Wertheim, after the cappuccino there and P's power bar, which he gave me yesterday morning, things go much better along the Tauber, despite surprisingly many meters of altitude.

Rain is forecasted for tonight and tomorrow, I don't feel like having a wet tent.

Garni am Mühlenwörth, located directly on the bike path, I am the only guest tonight, the host goes into the kitchen especially for me.
