Rhein bike tour Day 6

With one last look back at the Rhine Falls and the castle, we say goodbye to Schaffhausen. The stay here will definitely go down as a highlight in our logbook.

Sometimes it may not be so beautiful, so that we can appreciate the beauty again.

The first 50km of the route are boring, we switch between Germany and Switzerland a few times, but that's about it. We ride for long stretches without seeing the Rhine, but now we know, for example, the industrial area of Waldshut-Tiengen - honestly guys, what were you thinking: "Hey, if you ride the Rhine Valley cycle path, you definitely have to see the industrial area of Waldshut-Tiengen?" or "survive the most dangerous roundabouts in the industrial area of W.T., then experience the Rhine". When our mood is completely ruined and we laugh about not having anything to laugh about today, we find a really nice beer garden in Albbruck and take a break there. Miraculously, it becomes really nice after the break. We ride along the Rhine again, enjoy the beautiful weather, and after arriving in Bad Säckingen, we treat ourselves to some spaghetti ice cream. Our accommodation is great and we are happy about the double room with private bath.

We spend a beautiful and entertaining evening with Ilse and Manni, who we have arranged to meet, they live very close by. We get a little tour of "Säckingen" and have a wonderful dinner.
