Day at the beach 🏖

My German roommate, Tom, had enthusiastically told me about his morning walks with sunrise vibes 🌅. This naturally made me wishful. Yesterday, in the early morning, I got up to see the sunrise from Hell's Gate Point, a lookout point. I decided to combine it with a jogging round 🏃‍♂️ and took the path along the Coastal Walk that we had already done the day before. The sun rose over the ocean at 6:32 am on the dot 🌅. The atmosphere was gigantic!!! 😲 After that, I finished the round to be back at my accommodation for breakfast.

The hostel offers free surfboards to rent. Tom and I, eager to improve our surfing skills, gladly took advantage of this offer and walked to the beach with the board under our arms. There were already many other surfers 🏄‍♂️ looking for the best wave. After two hours in the water, we needed a break. We bought our lunch at the nearby sushi restaurant. 🍣🍱

In the afternoon, we went on the board again. Otherwise, we enjoyed the beautiful weather from our beach towels. 😎

In the evening, we returned to the hostel where we cooked ourselves a delicious dinner. 🍝 In addition, we talked to the other travelers about how they had survived the corona time 🦠. Tired from the previous day, we went to bed pretty early. 😴
