The dinosaurs are loose

15.7.: The dinosaurs are loose 🦖 🦕 

Last Friday was the day: The boys went on a trip to the dinosaur park with their daycare center and the parents were allowed to come along for free. Of course, we didn't miss this opportunity. 😉 Especially since the park is not a permanent institution, but only a summer pop-up event.

The park itself wasn't that great and we didn't really get to talk to the other parents. In addition, the boys had already declared the night over at 5:18 am 🙄 and at least Henry was so tired when we arrived at the park that he would have fallen asleep in the car within seconds. 😴 So he struggled through the park and just wanted to be carried. 🤷‍♀️

The highlight was the shared meal at the end of the approximately 20-minute park visit. Instead of pizza, there were sandwiches 🥪, but the kids didn't mind.

My highlight: The daycare center director asked shortly before leaving who still needed to use the toilet and it felt like everyone yelled "ME!" Funny, especially because we already knew that there are exactly two (!) portable toilets outside. 🤣
