Stage 10 Cudillero via A Coruña —> Paxariñas 379 KM (Total 2702 KM)
Our new campsite is located directly by the sea, on a rocky plateau between two bays. The sea view pitches are all rented to permanent campers who have converted their mobile homes into real estate. The pitches are as tight and small as the entrance, and our caravan just fits in 😅.
In the evenings, we also see the reason why there are so many property owners there - the fantastic sunsets 👍.
The next day, we take the bikes to the A Toxa peninsula and visit the grand hotel there. It is a very chic, slightly outdated hotel with a beautiful view of the sea. Thanks for the tip, Hans.
On the way back, we find a small nice restaurant where Mom cooks and Dad serves. Everything tasted great - including the self-made wine 😋, as almost always in such restaurants.
Due to the high humidity, it is always wet and foggy in the morning, and the 🌞 comes out only around noon - that was a bit annoying, so we left the place a bit earlier than planned after visiting Santiago de Compostela.
