Unfortunately, Jan's back just doesn't want to get better. He has become very good at bending over with his duck ass, bending at the hips has been out for a few days. But he holds on bravely and tries to go along with everything.
Today, after our gourmet camping stove breakfast, we're heading to the neighboring island of Caprera. The first beach we stopped at impressed us less or not at all, but it may also be due to the cloudy weather, so you don't really get into the beach mood.
One beach further, at Cala Andreani, we are almost blown away, but the water is so beautiful that we can still snorkel. However, we looked like breaded schnitzels afterwards because the wind blew all this nature onto our wet skin.
On the way back we actually saw a herd of ibex, relaxing next to the road. And because we feel the need for a little civilization again, we stroll through La Maddalena town and drink Aperol and Sardinian beer.
We actually wanted to go up to a viewpoint on the island this last evening, but in reality it was a bit further away than we thought. Instead, we walked behind the campsite towards the tip of the island, watched the stormy, deep blue sea, let the spray spray our faces and built stone towers. Was nice too.
The crowning finale was definitely the spaghetti carbonara in the campsite restaurant, really slurpy.
