Today was the only day I had available here in the park without any movements, etc., and the plan was to hike to Mirador del tres Torres. A total of 20 km round trip with 750 meters of elevation gain, including 300 meters in the last kilometer.
In the end, I managed to do it in about 7 hours, but I did realize that the descent, especially without trekking poles (which fell victim to the weight of the pack), was quite challenging for me. Additionally, the trail was quite crowded, especially around noon, and I had some bad luck with the weather. When I reached the top, it was freezing cold, the Patagonian wind was howling, and when it started thundering up there, you realize how small humans really are and that we can never control nature.....
I also took some pictures of the day, including the return journey, where the lakes shimmered in a wonderful blue color, but no one has ever swum in them (at least not without a wetsuit) because the water is only 4 degrees Celsius....
