Traveling in the Mekong Delta & visiting a floating market

We woke up at 4 o'clock this morning to visit the floating market. At 5 o'clock, the boats start roaring and the river becomes a market. The market starts bustling at 6 o'clock and you are surrounded by about 40 boats! The main offerings are fresh fruits, herbs, spices, and breakfast soup. We bought fresh fruits (melon & pomelo) and made a stop at a rice noodle factory on the way to the canals, where we were explained and shown the production. After a small lunch, we could visit a fruit plantation and walk along the river.
