First Day in Bangkok

On Friday at five in the morning I got on the train in Sonneberg and headed to Frankfurt.

When I arrived at the airport I was so different but I felt very comfortable with my big backpack.

Thank God I met Lisa straight away (who is also my roommate) and we fumbled our way through. By the time we boarded there were 10 of us.

I was most afraid of the flight, we flew for 10.5 hours, but I just made it through to 2 hours or so

Then our guide picked us up at the airport, everyone was at the end of their strength and we drove to the hotel

Unfortunately the rooms weren't ready yet and we had to wait another 5 hours

So I hopped into the pool first

MEGA NICE

THEN shower in the room, take a power nap and take the train to the city center

We went to shopping centers (no one thought it was that great) but the group is in a fun mood

I accidentally bought glass noodles and they were so slippery - it was a street food market there

A boy band performed in such a huge place. Completely as you would imagine

Then suddenly it started raining and we were RUNNING THROUGH BANGKOK in the warm rain

How crazy is that??? I LOVE

It feels like I changed money a hundred times today and now I'm definitely rich because I have 700 notes😂

For dinner we went to a small restaurant with our guide and he ordered his favorites

IT WAS SO SPICY, I didn't grab it, but it was so delicious!!!

Of course there was also Thai beer.
