ቀን 2 - በረራ ሃኖይ እና ታይፔ ደረሱ

We arrived back to reality with this flight (2.5 hours). Big plane, with only about 40 people and economy class for small people. Our knees hit the front seat and we're not the tallest - I don't want to know how the 10-hour flight would have been. Thank God we chose premium class for long-haul flights!

In Taipei, Carolin picked us up at the airport and helped us with the first to-dos. We still have room for improvement in speaking Chinese!

Prepaid card to have Wi-Fi everywhere, the card to top up with money to take the metro or go shopping at 7 Eleven.

We took the train from the airport to the main station and then took a taxi to the hotel. Taxi rides are quite cheap here.

We then took a short detour to the nearest night market and were already overwhelmed by all the food you can eat or pigs being walked on a leash. Carolin currently prefers papaya milk, but she is especially proud of her corgi-themed handle grip!

But then we were glad to finally go to bed!
