The great bike tour Day 12: Up and down in the Upper Inn Valley

Today was a mixed bag: the headwind/tailwind, the signs of the climbs, the sun/rain mix, and my mood.

Last night it rained terribly. I prepared my dinner under the awning and must have fallen asleep around 7:30 p.m. I had a headache and felt kind of unfit - no, not because of alcohol. It stopped raining around 2:00 a.m., I briefly visited the sanitary facilities and slept until 7:30 a.m.

I underestimated that May here is like November, almost everything is closed: campsites, cafes, guesthouses, youth hostels. It's really hard to find a place to stay - for haystack or wild camping - I'm (still?) too uncool for that.

My stuff is damp from last night, I didn't feel like more rain, so I booked the cheapest accommodation offered on Booking: Pension 555, €60, room with mini kitchen, bathroom, and Wi-Fi - that's the new trend here. The Tyroleans are building and renovating like crazy, several accommodations have canceled on me because "we're renovating".
