Ankunft in Trelleborg

The first major stage is done, arrival in Trelleborg. The ferry arrived on time at 9:10 PM. It took about 20 minutes before we drove off the ferry, but then it went quite fast, we were not checked again. However, random checks were carried out, and a few cars were inspected more closely...

About the ferry: we traveled with Steinaline, which definitely deserves my recommendation. Well-equipped, the restaurant is also excellent and not overpriced. I expected much higher prices. Our meatballs (see photo) cost just under € 11 incl. a drink. No cash is accepted on board, everything is done with card payment (Maestro or credit card). There is also free Wi-Fi on board for simple chatting, etc. If you want to do more (streaming, etc.), you can add a faster internet connection for about € 5.

Watch out for the cost trap: set flight mode + Wi-Fi, otherwise it will go via the maritime network and that is very expensive 🤗
