Shopping in Paraguay

የታተመ: 05.02.2018

Today we went shopping again because I wanted to cook something in the next few days. I am always impressed by the huge meat counters that stretch across the entire width of the building. The prices are also striking. While staple foods cost next to nothing, things like apples, vinegar, or cream cheese cost a fortune.

Los Jardines - the largest but also the most expensive supermarket in Luque sells imported goods from Europe, expensive but at least.

Milk and yogurt are sold in funny bags in Paraguay. The aisles in the supermarket are ALWAYS full of yogurt because the bags quickly tear or get holes.

For dinner, we went to DonVito with Sergio, my favorite meal, Empanada de palmito.

Meche also asked me if I could write the blog in Spanish because many people here would be interested in what I write, what I mention, or what I find strange. What do you think? Do you think people might feel attacked if they see me making fun of the dangerous showerheads? Feel free to comment on the post.
