13.04. Chiang Mai - Elephant Rescue Center 🇹🇭

Today we visited the Elephant Rescue Park near Chinag Mai. This is a sanctuary for elephants that have been rescued from circuses and other cruel shows (elephant rides, elephant painting, etc.) and now live here.

There we were able to feed three baby elephants and two larger elephants with bananas.

Afterwards, we walked a short distance through the jungle with the elephants until we reached a water hole where they bathed.

Shortly afterwards, we humans were also sent into the water. We brushed and massaged the elephants 😃

They really enjoyed it. They sprayed us with water several times with their trunks.

An incredibly beautiful experience. 🐘
