The morning greets us unusually sunny, wonderful! We make ourselves a coffee and have breakfast in front of the bus, then we continue along the coast heading south. However, we make a detour inland to Clécy, in the Swiss Normandy. Jörni had found something on the maps and wanted to see mountains. The expectations were somehow a bit bigger, but it's still beautiful there. We reach the small town of Clécy around noon, there's absolutely nothing going on... but a nice elderly lady has made the finest crepes at her self-made stand, and for only one euro... very good, let's eat it all! Afterwards, we sat in front of a mini bar at the church square and treated ourselves to a delicious coffee, and only saw three people!
On the way back to the bus, we had to have another crepe, at that price...!
Then we head back to the coast and find a spot in Saint-Per-Sur-Mer, the season is also over here, but the campsite is still open for a few more days. We can decide whether we want to stay up top, overlooking the sea, or rather down below, sheltered between the hedges. It's raining again and the wind is strong, plus the receptionist informs us that thunderstorms and strong winds are forecasted for the night... mmmhhh... well, we have experience with that by now and decide pragmatically... we choose the spot in the sheltered area. In the early evening, we walk towards the city and do some shopping, and on the way back (along the beach), we wonder why it's also closed at night... well... there must be more bad weather coming...!
However, we enjoy the evening in the evening sun with baguette, cheese, and air-dried, finest salami, although it's windy and we're wearing thick jackets, but with a beautiful rainbow.
During the night, it's windy but otherwise... nothing happens...! The weather frog must have been wrong...!
