For once, the journey was not far today. After about an hour and a half, we reached Zion National Park. We had to close a tunnel for oncoming traffic for our camper. The tunnel was marked with 13 feet and 1 inch. However, our camper is 13 feet and 5 inches high. The ranger at the tunnel entrance said it would fit. So, despite our junior driver's biggest concerns, we drove through and actually made it out the other end with all the structures on the roof. This time, we parked right at the lower park entrance and took the shuttle. It took us to the top of the canyon. There, we walked along the river and enjoyed the magnificent view and cool water. We spent the night at a very nice campground. The boys have already taken over the pool.
