Jamaica - Day 14 - Ganja Farm and drive to Negril

On the 14th day, we ticked off a must-have-seen in Jamaica. We visited a Ganja Farm. Since it is illegal in Jamaica to possess more than 5 marijuana plants per person, it is not quite easy to visit one. However, our cook Bertram used his connections and organized a tour for us.

Since large Ganja Farms are illegal, this one was very hidden. We had to walk about 30 minutes through forests and fields until we arrived. It was cool to see something like this.

When we returned to the hotel, we packed our belongings and headed to Negril. First, we took a route taxi to Black River. From there, we drove with another one to Whitehouse in order to take a route taxi to Savana La Mar. From there, we finally took a route taxi to Negril and a charter taxi from the bus park to the hotel. Despite the many stops, it only took us 2 hours. It is even faster with a completely chartered taxi from Treasure Beach, although we only paid €7.50 per person for the trip altogether.

After checking in, we had lunch and then spent the afternoon and evening at the beach, swimming.
