Heading north

Hello there,

not much happened today. We spent most of the time, about 5.5 hours, in the car. In the morning, we first went from our campsite to Prince George, where we bought some small things and had Wi-Fi again in a shopping center. So we could briefly contact home again to let them know that everything is fine. Because even though I have a data plan for my phone here in Canada, there is hardly any reception on the road.

After Prince George, we continued north on Highway 97. Our next destination, where we also wanted to stay overnight, was Dawson Creek. But we still had to drive for another three hours until we got there. There were occasional rain showers along the way. And otherwise, it mostly looked very gray and brown. Spring hasn't quite arrived up here yet. Suddenly there was snow everywhere again and we also passed high, snow-covered mountains. So it's time to bundle up again, because it's supposed to get just below zero degrees cold here in Dawson Creek tonight.
