Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!

I had the opportunity to celebrate my first Thanksgiving with the community at the church in Boston. We had a wonderful service and afterwards a huge buffet, for which everyone cooked or baked something. I am so grateful to be a part of this amazing community and to have met so many great people there, including many Germans by the way!

On Thanksgiving Day, my host family took me to their annual family celebration. Everyone was very kind and it was nice to meet the rest of the family. The food was very good. After that, we drove to the apartment in New Hampshire. We made another turkey the next day in a smaller group! We went skiing the whole weekend and had a lot of fun!
