Stellenbosch - Muizenberg - Chapman's Peak Drive - Cape Town - V&A Waterfront

Today we continued from Stellenbosch to Cape Town, our route took us through Muizenberg and then to Fish Hoek and subsequently to Noordhoek, where we drove on Chapman’s Peak Drive. This road section with its breathtaking view of Hout Bay is narrow but simply an experience not to be missed.

There was some excitement just before Muizenberg, when we saw a pickup truck in front of us, which had already seen a few kilometers. I froze for a moment because of the caution in the left rear wheel, so about 5 minutes later the right rear wheel, not just the wheel but part of the axle, came loose and turned out, so shortly afterwards the rear wheel overtook the pickup truck. I saw this coming and kept my distance accordingly. Fortunately, nothing more serious happened and no one was hurt.

After this excitement, we continued on our way to Cape Town and then arrived at our new accommodation, "Cape Diem Lodge,". At 1:30 p.m., we met the Studer's at Mitchell's and explored the V&A Waterfront a bit. We returned to our accommodation around 6:00 p.m. and enjoyed the evening
