ተጨማሪ የጉዞ ሪፖርቶች 16.06.19 From Borsh we continue through the mountains towards Durres. We are free to park at the beach in Golem, Albania. Today is a special day, Ulrike turns 50 years young tonight! We go to a bar, the host asks us to park the camper on his property. We are sitting there alone, two European women...the first car arrives, then the second, then the seventh :-). The bar is full and we have a lot of fun. The camper is right next to our table. Next to us sits a Macedonian who has lived in Germany for a long time. At midnight, an Albanian birthday song for Ulrike. It was so special! Thank you for letting me be a part of it!!! 15.06.19 A difficult farewell, but more highlights await us. We are heading to Albania next. I'm already looking forward to the Llagera Pass. I drove it alone on the way there, but now I'm with Ulrike. Finding it on the way back isn't so bad anymore. But first, we still have to make a stop in Greece to visit Yannis. A promise is a promise! He's really excited, and we'll get fresh eggs and apricots from him. We're spending the night in Borsh (Albania), freely standing by the beach. The people here are really warm-hearted. Thank you for your hospitality. 18.06.19, we make a bathing stop in Croatia and then drive to Dubrovnik and stay in Podaca. Unfortunately, free camping is prohibited in Croatia and not tolerated. We accept it and go to a small campsite. Well, it's not really my thing but it has to be done.
