Just cycling home, with a funny encounter 😉 75 km

Actually, my plan was to continue north towards Flensburg, about 100 km away. I wonder if that will still work today 😏, but there was a rail replacement service on the route, so no chance of getting on.

So, new plan. I've already cycled the old plan. Eckernförde Boostedt, AKN HVV and the bike can ride for free, the route is okay.

So let's go across the country, sometimes on annoying main roads, but also through beautiful nature. Until the North Sea-Baltic Sea Canal, nice little ferry. Sometimes I want to take a break, a nice bakery would be nice, but they are rare and not where I am 😩. Out of nowhere, a windmill appears, sign at the entrance says Klönschnack every last Friday!?!? Is there something here, stretching my neck. A voice from the garden asks if I'm looking for something. I ask if it's a restaurant. No, what would I like? A coffee ☕️. Should I make one for you? And just like that, I was invited into the garden. 10 minutes later, the host came with a tray with coffee, cookies, and 2 sandwiches with Katenschinken, delicious! A very nice conversation and a house tour as well. With a big smile, I got back on my bike after this break 😊. From Bordesholm, here is not only the motorway, but also the Bordesholmer See and then the Einfelder See, very beautiful and very quiet on Mondays. Now quickly pedal home, past Neumünster to Boostedt. 5:30 pm at the destination, the AKN leaves at 5:45 pm, perfect! Until a passenger told me that bikes are only allowed on the train from 6 pm, but often it's not checked, that's not true, didn't think about that 🙁. One bike got off the train and 2 bikes were already in the train. 15 minutes of anxiety and it worked! The first 4 days of cycling were very enjoyable 🥰.
