Weg von New York, ab nach Boston bzw. Providence (Zwischenstopp)

Today I'll be brief because there isn't much to tell. Today I had to pick up the rental car with my dad, which will accompany us until August 30th, 2016. It was an adventure: we had to take 2 different buses and then walk, all without mobile internet and navigation. We did get lost once and the bus stopped halfway through the journey, so it took us 2 hours to cover a distance that would take 20 minutes by car. But other than that, everything went well. I had to ask for directions, and that helped improve my English. At least we got a good car. We left Brooklyn around 11 am and arrived at our stop around 4 pm. The drive felt so long. The weather outside was beautiful, and it was a bit disappointing to spend so much time in the car. However, the rental apartment was already available when we arrived at 3 pm.

The apartment was really great. We booked it last minute on the same day through Air bnb. I can only recommend it to everyone. We had a whole house to ourselves, and there was even a foosball table, pool table, and table tennis in the basement. That's how you experience the American way of living.
