Vina del Mar

We picked up our vehicle this morning at Chilean. Not bad, but without GPS. In the meantime, we bought a SIM card for 700 pesos, 1 Euro, 2 GB, and 100 minutes, hoping to use it to operate the phone as a GPS. We'll see. Next time, I will buy a GPS before leaving.

After leaving for Vina del Mar, 100km from Santiago.

A seaside town with 350,000 inhabitants, a few km from Valparaiso. Lots of skyscrapers and slums. Tomorrow we will visit the Fonck Museum. More details tomorrow.

Übernahme unseres Mietwagens, leider ohne GPS. Inzwischen haben wir eine Sim Karte gekauft für 1 Euro (2 GB, 100 Minuten Telefon). Hoffentlich kann ich dann das Telefon als Navi nutzen.

Fahrt nach Vina del Mar, ca 100 km. Viele Hochhäuser und „Slums“ (bzw kurz davor). Morgen besichtigen wir hier das Museum Fonck und Valparaiso (mehr morgen).
