Freiburg blew us away.

A city of diversity at the foot of the Black Forest. Whether it's the historic old town, the easy-going lifestyle, the art/culture, or the great pubs,

we found everything impressive here. In this vibrant city, similar to Böbs, we were also spoiled with wonderful summer weather, up to 26°. Shorts and t-shirt were the preferred attire.

Our parking space was only 2 km away from the old town with its stunning history, so we could enjoy the lively city life to the fullest. And we did.

Of course, Holger had to visit the Freiburg SC stadium and 'HURRA', we could visit it. An unexpected highlight, and Holgi was happy.

We have seen so much beauty here and today, as a conclusion, we visited the cathedral. I even climbed the tower. An indescribable experience, not just because of the 390 steps. Holger and Waltraut had ice cream while I climbed. It was also indescribable

like everything here.

There was only one moment of panic: Evening walk - Holger and Waltraut were 'lost in Freiburg'. In their defense, it was really dark and they lost their orientation. Let's not forget that Freiburg is slightly larger than Böbs. They were filled with slight panic and with the help of a friendly Freiburgerin, they eventually made it back to the nest, slightly excited but unharmed. Phew

Tomorrow we continue, the Black Forest is next. But we don't know where yet.
