Day 10 Koh Tao

Today we didn't set an alarm and wanted to take it easy. We got up at 8 anyway. The plan was to have breakfast, go to the beach, pack in the afternoon, and go to the port in the evening to take the ferry + bus to Bangkok. Katha remembered that we have to check out at 10 o'clock. So we quickly packed and then had breakfast. We were out of the room at exactly 10 o'clock 💪🏼

We could still store our luggage at the hostel. Then we returned our scooter and went to the beach, which is right next to our hostel. The beach is also the most famous and popular one on Koh Tao. So it was quite crowded but not overcrowded. After a short time, we realized that it was just too hot 🥵 and looked for a shaded spot.

Today I also unpacked my travel gift from my dearest brother, my dearest sister-in-law, my dearest nephew, and my sweetest godchild! Thank you again! The idea is very sweet and so I always have you with me ❤️

But you could also lie in the water at this beach because it didn't get deep for a long time and there were hardly any waves. The sand on this beach is really amazing. Completely without stones, super fine, and white. Just as you imagine it 🤩

After the day at the beach, we had dinner. We both had Pad Thai again, which was delicious once again. I just love it ❤️ the onion rings were also very good!

Later we realized that we don't have a shower anymore. At our hostel, you couldn't use the shower without a room. Fortunately, Katha asked at another hostel, which allowed us to shower in their pool shower. The receptionist also arranged a taxi to the port for us and carried my backpack to the taxi. I think it suits her very well!

Then we were taken to the port by a pick-up truck.

There we got sandwiches and fruit for tomorrow's breakfast.

At 7:30 PM we were allowed to board our ferry and were taken to our cabin. It will be interesting with 58 other people in one room. Hopefully, it's not fully booked and there are still beds available 🙈
