Tired and slightly nervous, I boarded the first plane to London.
The flight was short and beautiful. Upon arriving in London, I noticed how huge the airport is and immediately realized that I had to go to another terminal. I followed the signs and found myself facing a row of empty benches where we were supposed to be picked up by a bus. But there was no one here. Was I really in the right place?
A few moments later, a young man with a furrowed brow approached. And shortly after, a young lady around my age. A few minutes later, the bus finally arrived and took us on a nearly 20-minute ride through the airport to the other terminal.
Upon arrival, I discovered that Timo and Pia, both from Germany, also had a connecting flight to Kuala Lumpur.
It was much easier and more fun to navigate the London airport with them.
Unfortunately, we soon found ourselves in the very large aircraft where, despite brief visits and waves, we spent the flight apart.
Thanks to movies, games, and food, the flight passed by quickly.
Upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur, we once again explored the airport and were pleasantly surprised to find that we could actually go outside. A short jungle walk with a waterfall and tropical Malaysian heat allowed us to briefly experience the fresh air in the middle of the airport. That was really nice.
Unfortunately, the two of them continued on to Australia, so our paths diverged.
And once again, I had to make my way to the other terminal, this time by train.
Upon arriving in Bali, there were some difficulties. But the biggest problem was getting to Amed. Unfortunately, my driver (hired by the hostel) could not be found, despite being called several times. So I took a taxi home.
After a brief visit to the beach, I am now ready to go to bed.
