On 23.06.23, I flew from Munich to Muscat/Oman overnight. For me, night flights are still the best, especially because you arrive at your destination well-rested the next day...😊

After a flight time of 6 hours and 15 minutes, I arrived in Oman the next morning at 6:30.

As always, very sporty, despite a stopover of about 2.5 hours, I had to almost run to the gate after taking off from Munich with a one-hour delay.

Finally, at 8:55 am, I continued to Zanzibar.

After a flight time of 5 hours and 20 minutes, I finally arrived in Zanzibar at 13:15🙂

Despite having an E-visa, I had to wait in line just as long as for Visa on Arrival. After waiting for almost an hour, things finally started moving and I could pick up my luggage, where I had to wait for another half an hour.

Finally, at 14:45, I continued to Kiwengwa with a private transfer. I always book a private transfer because it takes a long time with the buses to arrive and sometimes you have to wait a long time at the airport before you can even get started😀It's something you can do if you're traveling somewhere for more than 2 weeks. Personally, I find it too precious to spend time waiting on a two-week trip, it always has to be quick to get from A to B.

After the long journey and already in the late afternoon, I went to the pool for a while and then to bed😅

The next day, I relaxed and strolled along the beach before continuing on Monday🙂

In the following days, I went on several tours. I rented a private driver who took me wherever I wanted to go😊

The pepper tree grows black, red and green pepper.

The island was supposed to serve as a prison for violent criminals, but it became a quarantine station for people with yellow fever when an epidemic threatened Stone Town.
