Flown from Salta to Buenos Aires and in the afternoon, took a city tour on my own. On the 14th October, explored the city on foot and by public transport with a German-Swiss-Argentinian. Very impressive.
In the afternoon, began the long bus journey to Puerto Iguazu. Comfortable bus and we slept quite well after a glass or two of red wine.
Katja and I dared to take a speedboat literally under the waterfalls. Soaked... but our clothes quickly dried during the march to Garganta del Diabolo.
On the 16th, we continued our journey to Brazil, the last border crossing on our trip, and visited the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls... beautiful...
We flew to Rio de Janeiro and enjoyed the first Caipirinha on Copacabana beach.
The 17th was a mammoth day for sightseeing: Old town, Favela Morrinho, Christ the Redeemer statue, sunset on Sugarloaf Mountain with a view of the Corcovado mountain and the Christ the Redeemer statue... absolutely amazing.
Today, on the 18th, we spent some more time on Copacabana beach. Of course, I had fun in the waves while Toni took photos and kept an eye on our backpacks.
Now we are waiting for the transfer to the airport and starting our journey back home...
We had many experiences and we enjoyed them all.
Unfortunately, the internet is too weak for photos... I will send them later.
