On a beautiful weather, we drove to Mahinepuha Peninsula, located 50 km north of Kerikeri. Once we arrived, we headed to the lookout point at the tip of the peninsula. It involved going up and down several hills, along a picturesque coastline. On one side, we saw the wild, deep blue ocean, and on the other side, the turquoise bays.
Upon reaching the starting point of the hiking trail, we cooled off in the water and sunbathed on the beach. There, we met three German girls from the hostel.

So far, the peninsula has been one of the most beautiful places we have visited in New Zealand.
