Alesund

The Alesund Aquarium is already the 2nd out of a total of 3 on our trip. It was advertised as the best aquarium in Northern Europe in the travel guide, and after becoming aquarium experts because of our Konstantin, we can only confirm that. 

There is a lot to see and discover. After seeing every feeding and every tank from 11:00 am until closing time at 5:00 pm, we cycled back to the motorhome parking lot at the harbor. 

Feeling hungry, we ventured into the city center in the late evening to explore the downtown area and find something good to eat. 

The city is okay, but not worth a trip on its own. However, an Italian restaurant contributed to our satisfaction, where we had the best lasagna or penne in a long time. 

Late in the evening, we headed towards Trollstigen, where we found a nice campsite at the foot of this spectacular road.
