The new day didn't bode well. I felt completely exhausted. Even the medication couldn't help quickly. At lunchtime, I had solid food again in the form of an Asian noodle soup. Sabrina and Andi were out on their own again. As they described, they first went to Chinatown and then to the One World Trade Centre. Before enjoying the view of New York from the 102nd floor, they visited the two 9/11 memorial sites. Then they took the subway to 59th/Lexington Ave. From there, they searched for a well-known noodle restaurant (handmade noodles). Since the noodles were so wide and long, they had to adapt to the Asian habit of bringing the mouth to the food instead of the other way around. They didn't stand out even when slurping and smacking. In the evening, they surprised me with a warm meal and a Victoria Secret bag. Tonight, I'm almost fever-free, and overall, I feel much better. I hope that tomorrow I can experience a different side of New York.
