I meet our very friendly guide punctually at 7:00 in Bad Ragaz.
After loading the bikes, luggage, and lunch packs (there are bananas and "Biberli") we soon drive past the beautiful Walensee and the almost snow-free 😥Vrenelisgärtli and arrive a bit late at 9:30 in Lucerne.
There, the rest of the cycling group is already ready and eagerly awaits the departure.
After a short introduction, we start with a initially very comfortable and beautiful ride along the Emme.
From Schachen, we turn uphill and now it quickly gets steeper and hotter. Small roads and (partly steep) paths alternate. One can never drink enough, because even above 1000m it feels like 30 degrees.
After a short lunch break, we continue on sunny roads to Glaubenberg (another drinking break) and Sewenegg.
Then, after a push-carry passage to the viewpoint, the descent starts, which is quite undulating but scenically beautiful on the mountain hiking trail. Later on, we go through intermediate inclines and pass by uncontrollably running cows (speed up) fleeing to Sörenberg.
In summary, a great tour and very well guided.
