Day 10

This morning we went back to Hiriketiya for surfing. But this time not on foot, but by car. It was pouring rain. However, when we arrived 10 minutes later, the rain clouds quickly disappeared. All that remained were much higher waves than the first time. So, a quick warm-up and then into the waves. Okay, these waves are a different story. I'm very grateful that Neptune was so kind to me during my first lesson two days ago and the waves were smaller. It was still a lot of fun, of course. Only the exhaustion in my arms came faster than expected. After about an hour, the next rain shower came, so we got into the car and went for breakfast 🍉🍍🥥🍌

The most applications were in the morning because we wanted to go on a little excursion after lunch. Today, I had the eye cleansing again - this time with a video assistant, as I also wanted to see what was happening to me. Whether it looks good? I'm not quite sure ... 😊

In the afternoon, we went to Dickwella for a market, wearing sunglasses for protection. What followed was a sudden plunge from paradise bubble into Sri Lankan reality. Many people, many, sometimes strange smells, many colorful colors, skeptical and also friendly looks, loud calls and the honking of the main road. Wow! What impressions!

In the supermarket, the next surprise. The saleswomen were wearing Christmas hats, the shop was decorated, and Last Christmas was playing in the background. We least expected that ... 🎄

How good that we had a massage before dinner. First, relax and unwind 💆🏻‍♀️
