La Almunia de Doña Godina is a town and municipality in the southwest of the Zaragoza province, in Aragón (Spain, Europe). It is the capital of the Valdejalón comarca and also serves as the judicial district headquarters, being judicial district no. 7 of the Zaragoza province.
It has a population (according to the INE data from the year 2023) of 7,914 inhabitants and an area of 56.65 km².
The beautiful parish church of La Almunia de Doña Godina is dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption; it was constructed starting in 1754 and is in the Baroque style with a Mudejar-Aragonese bell tower.
