Continue on the familiar E6 towards Oslo, which we have to leave temporarily because there is new construction going on! We notice that there are really a lot of Teslas here, it seems that the Norwegians have also invented camping.
Today we want to go to Sweden and aim for the city of Strömstad, about 20 km after the border and 150 km above Gothenburg! We urgently need to save money and leave Norway... my goodness, it was expensive...! At the border, there is nothing going on and we can easily smuggle the hundreds of liters of beer from Norway to Sweden... haha, no wonder no one is here, who would smuggle something from Norway to Sweden, the other way around there is more to be gained.
In Strömstad, we still have to do some shopping and I can hardly believe what we have in the car for 450 Swedish Kronor... and how cheap the beer is...! The supermarkets here in the border town remind us of duty-free shops. Here you can buy sweets, we have never seen anything like it. These stores are called Supergott... the sugar paradise! Apparently, Norway has a sugar tax, which makes sweets very expensive. The Swedes came up with something clever with their Supergott stores to make a small profit.
We find a campsite that is not really nice, but it doesn't matter...! I urgently need to sort my photos and sit at the computer again. I can still sort my photos, but it's already too late to write! We eat salmon sandwiches and go to bed early.
