Today we had to check out of the campground at 9 a.m. As always, we had toast and cereal for breakfast. We drove back to the beautiful Monument Valley. There was a viewpoint where we could take very nice photos. Then we started to get hungry and looked for a restaurant. Soon we found one and got ourselves some sandwiches. After that, we continued towards Mesa Verde and passed by a fort called Fort Bluff, which used to be inhabited by settlers. Spontaneously, we decided to visit it. Then we continued on. After a while, we arrived at our new campground. It looked very nice and the people there were very friendly. We quickly settled in and started preparing dinner. Tonight's menu was fried ham and corn salad. Once everyone finished eating, it was time for dessert. Grilled marshmallows with chocolate and crackers, called smores. And now we're sitting here, cozy by the fire, writing this blog.
