 Monday

On Monday, we arrived at two o'clock and Flo, Miriam, and I don't have lunch. At night, we eat a lot. We had nachos with guacamole twice and chicken fingers with french fries. For dessert, we had soufflé with ice cream and whipped cream, and it was veryyyyy delicious.

Tuesday

On Tuesday, we have breakfast at the hotel and I had a delicious omelette. For lunch, we went to another place. It was great. First, we had a salad with omelette. The omelette was a classic omelette because it wasn't cooked well inside, but it was very delicious. Then, we were served raw meat and a hot stone. We cooked our meat with salt. For dessert, there were many Spanish sweets and ice cream.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, we went to Bilbao. There, we went to a restaurant, but we had to wait a long time for our tables. For the first course, there was a salad with tuna, but almost no one ate it. There was also a piece of bread with a soup that looked like vomit but tasted very delicious. Afterward, Paula and I went to a Spanish Starbucks, and there were many drinks that aren't available in Germany, like the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher that we ordered. The Spanish don't use regular milk, so they put coconut milk in Paula's drink. But we didn't want milk. In the end, it was the most delicious milk drink among the milk-less drinks.

Thursday

On Thursday afternoon, Laura, Flo, and I went to the city to buy snacks for the movie night. Then, we went to a Spanish pastry shop, and I talked to the baker, who showed me a typical cake from Aguilar called nata. It was very delicious.

Friday

On Friday, we were in Burgos. There, we ate at a restaurant. For the first course, we had soup. The soup smelled good, but the consistency wasn't good. For the vegetarians, there was a salad. Then, we received a plate with french fries and a lot of meat. For dessert, we had ice cream.

Spanish food and German food

There are many differences between Spanish food and German food. For example, the meal times. In Germany, we eat lunch at one fifteen, but in Spain, they eat at three or four. We have dinner at six or seven, but in Spain, they have dinner at nine or ten. In Germany, we have a big breakfast with bread, eggs, cereal, and more, but in Spain, they only have cookies with a lot of milk. However, they eat a lot for the afternoon meal. For starters, there is a salad or soup with a type of bread. In the main course, there are omelettes or some type of carbohydrates and vegetables. Next, there is a lot of meat or fish. For dessert, there is something cold like rice pudding or ice cream. The snack (like a sandwich or tapas) between breakfast and lunch is called almuerzo, and the snack between lunch and dinner is called merienda.
