Hi guys,
today was a super relaxed day!
The first night in our new hostel was great! We both slept very well and therefore also recovered very well.
With new energy, we started the day. First, we had breakfast, which is also provided in this hostel.
I even think that I have to honestly say that breakfast in this hostel is quite nice. Although there is mainly just toast again, this time there is also muesli, fruit, and vegetables!😊
So we strengthened ourselves and then set out to complete the registration of our car. We still had to print some documents, either fill them out or have them certified, and then send them by mail to the relevant authority.
All this initially seemed very complicated to us, but actually, we managed it very well!
From the post office, we then went to "Streets Beach". As the name might suggest, this is an artificially created beach in the middle of the city!
I have to honestly say that I didn't expect much from it, but my expectations were more than exceeded.
There was a great pool and beach landscape in the middle of the "Brisbane River" with a view of the skyline of Brisbane.
We went swimming and sunbathing for a while, after all, today we had the warmest day so far with 34 degrees!😊
So far, I have to say that the heat here in Australia feels very pleasant. Despite the high temperatures, neither of us has felt uncomfortable so far, which is a good sign!😄
In the evening, we went shopping again, mainly for our dinner.
Today, we decided to cook in the hostel, so I went to the stove, and what came out of it was a vegetable pan in tomato sauce with noodles. However, I made a bit too much and we don't have any Tupperware yet to take leftovers with us, so we invited a German backpacker named Daniela to dinner, whom we met in the morning. She was very happy and the three of us had a very talkative and nice evening together!
Tomorrow morning, check-out is at 10 am and the journey can begin. Then, the program includes buying everything we need for traveling and preparing ourselves a bit, but we will definitely manage that!
Greetings from Brisbane, Australia!🇦🇺
Your Tim!😊
