Since it's currently rainy season in the east of Malaysia and we totally forgot about it, we had to shorten our route and only spent 2 weeks in Malaysia.
Our last stop was on the island of Langkawi. The start seemed very cool at first because the owner of our guesthouse invited us to a bar evening. There we met her friends and had a very cool evening in a beach bar with cheap beer, because everything is duty free on Langkawi, so we got a beer for 0.5€!!!!
The end of the evening turned out to be surprisingly strange, because Ciru, the owner (about 35 years old), brought a dude we were chilling with back to the guesthouse overnight...
The next morning we woke up a bit hungover and very hungry. We were looking forward to the pancakes she had promised us, but when we went into the kitchen...we missed breakfast by 10 minutes and we asked Ciru if we could still get something to eat and she said coldly "NO". The disappointment was huge, because we weren't even allowed to take a piece of toast.
We didn't understand the world anymore, because the dude who had stayed with her for free probably ate OUR pancakes.
The following days were very relaxing because the owner wasn't there and the volunteer took over and allowed us to have breakfast at night.
We had very deep conversations with him about life and God. He even taught us how to ride a scooter, for which we are very grateful!
So we explored the beautiful island a bit more and then it was time to continue to......THAILAND.
