When we arrived at the beach, our luggage was taken to the hostel and we spent a few hours on the promenade. Then we went to our somewhat remote hostel. We were warmly welcomed and made ourselves comfortable and enjoyed the pool.
The next day was equally relaxed. The hostel owner Diego invited us for a few beers and we sat together, chatted and listened to music. In the evening, we briefly went into the town to buy some souvenirs and have dinner. On the way back, we met three French people with whom we chatted for a while. Later, we made a bonfire with Diego and his friend and enjoyed a few glasses of the traditional drink Chilcano, which is made with the local Pisco here. It was a very funny evening when we sat by the fire for a long time.
The next morning, we took the bus back to Lima. We bought some things in the crowded supermarket and drove to the nice family who invited us to celebrate Christmas with them.
