After almost 2 years of pandemic - 8 hours drive... surprisingly going well.
Memmingen Airport (between Munich and Stuttgart) is likely one of the smallest in Germany. (Small problem: it closes overnight: so if you want to start at 4 am in the morning, you have to wait/sleep in the car... luckily with a parking heater ;-).
While checking in - you feel a bit like in the Orient. You only hear Arabic around you. Men, women, family... headscarves, good moods... For most people, they are going home... a big hustle and bustle.
Fortunately, I took a PCR test beforehand, otherwise no entry... but it makes you feel a bit more comfortable during the flight.
An airplane full of people wearing masks... 4 hours
Globalization: booked with a German provider, Irish airline, operated by Malta, German pilot, flight attendants from all over the world, to an Arabic country... quite colorful and international, and all for €100 to Amman and back (or at least I hope so...)
